doc. PhDr.Ingrid Ciulisová, Res. Prof. / is a senior research fellow at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Institute of Art History in Bratislava. Recently she has been awarded fellowships at the Centre for Advanced Studies of the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Sciences and the Arts, Brussels, and at I Tatti, The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, Florence. She was invited to be a Guest Scholar at the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles for the 2017-2018 Scholar Year. Her interests encompass the fields of late Gothic and early modern art in Europe as well as the historiography of art history. She has published extensively on art in the Low Countries, history of art collecting, history of art history and preservations of monuments. In addition to numerous articles, she is the author of Paintings of the 16th Century Netherlandish Masters: Slovak Art Collections (Bratislava, 2006), Men of Taste: Essays on Art Collecting in East-Central Europe (Bratislava 2014). She has edited and co-edited the following publications: The Habsburgs and their Courts in Europe, 1400–1700 : Between Cosmopolitism and Regionalism.
