Polonez - fellowship programme for researchers

The 15th September National Science Centre from Poland will announce new call for proposals called Polonez – a fellowship programme, co-funded from the EU H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
Polonez is supporting international incoming researchers working in the broad field of basic research, regardless of their nationality.
It is targeted at researchers who may apply for 12 or 24-month fellowships in host institutions in Poland, both academic and non-academic, public or private.
An incoming researcher is a person with a PhD degree or at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience who has not resided or carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Poland for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline.
The applicants are offered:
- salary (incl. mobility allowance): € 4 350 gross/month (full time contract),
- family allowance of € 300 gross per month, for fellows whose families stay in Poland for at least 3 months),
- research grant to cover the costs of the research project,
- opportunity to participate in research and non-research training programmes provided by the NCN.
Host Institution receives overheads at a rate of 20%.
