In this paper, we obtain asymptotic bounds, under appropriate conditions, of solutions of third order difference equations of the form \[ Δ(pn-1Δ(rn-1Δ yn-1)) =f(n,yn,Δ yn-1)+g(n,yn,Δ yn-1), \] where $\{pn\}$ and $\{rn\}$ are sequences of positive real numbers, and $f,g: \Bbb N× \Bbb R2 \to \Bbb R$. Different forms of discrete Gronwall inequality are used to obtain these results.
