The article is devoted to the analysis of original and translated texts, the style peculiarity of which is based on folklore traditions and functioning of the national language in the specific sphere of people's creative abilities' exposure deeply reflected in the genre of tales. The versatile studying of belarusian and Slovak tales, which at the moment of their collecting were the organic part of the life and language tradition of their creators, now has the direct relation to the specific character of stylistic traits. The stylistic peculiarities are the main problem of the translation and very actual in language functioning. In the belarusian-slovak dialogue of cultures with the participation of the Ukrainian and Russian languages there are some very important linguistic peculiarities: the lexical similarity, methods of compositional and structural text regulating, deixis and onomasticon.
