Among the sources of Bernolák’s grammatical thinking, as H. Keipert has shown, the latin version of F. A. Schlögel’s „Anleitung zur deutschen Sprachlehre“ (Grammatica Germanica, 1786), a model textbook of the Theresian epoch, was very significant. The author analyzes this source with regard to the grammars of Doležal and V. J. Rosa.
