Teplotné inverzie vo Vysokých Tatrách

The occurrence of the inversions of air temperature in the mountains of High Tatras is discussed. As the experimental basis the data of the air temperature from four meteorological stations: Poprad, Starý Smokovec, Skalnaté Pleso and Lomnický štít for the period 1961 – 1980 were used. The aim of this paper was to evaluate the occurrence of the inversions during the year and the day and to find out the influence of the atmosphere circulation on this phenomena.
