Tri znaky cieľovej kvality vidieckej krajiny – analýza a návrh zmien v regióne Stredného Považia

The aim of this paper is to present an analysis of changes in three rural landscape qualities. Results of the analysis are schemed to provide an overview of changes that took place in landscape over a certain period to the local population, decision-makers and stakeholders of the particular territory. They should also represent an important source of information for the documents involved with landscape planning. However, first of all, presentation of such results should arouse interest in landscape and encourage the population to greater participation in landscape policy. Moreover, the applied research method itself tried to engage the locals as well. The authors of this paper present the proposal and results of such analysis accomplished in the region of Stredné Považie. The applied procedure consists of the analysis of three partial changes of the rural landscape quality – particularly those of landscape structure, visual quality, and socio-cultural quality.
