O článku:
Today, Kriging is a family of prediction methods well known in geostatistics and often used in cases one has to predict spatial data. In the last three decades the formerly single Kriging method got a lot of modifications in a linear setting and a nonlinear one. A special modification called Bayesian Kriging is the first and only one in the Kriging family incorporating a-priori knowledge. After presentation of the main ideas and main parts of Bayesian Kriging several ways are shown to get, to use and to incorporate this a-priori knowledge. Furthermore some areas and fields of research are pointed out where the use of Bayesian Kriging would be possible and where is a change to get better results compared with the non-Bayesian pendant called Universal Kriging even if Bayesian Kriging means not more than to add two terms.
