5. Research activities
I am active in the following fields of mathematics: graph theory, group actions on graphs, maps and hypermaps, low dimensional topology, applications of mathematics in finance.
I was a head of three groups of researchers granted by the Slovak agency for science and technology, this time 2 research projects are running,
The outcomes of my research activities are published in research journals throughout the world, about 60 published articles and more than 200 citations. I use to have lectures and invited talks at international conferences, among others I was an invited lecturer in the conference: Mathematics in the new Millenium held in Seoul under the auspices of the Worlds Mathematical Society,
I am a member of the committee of Slovak grant agency, a collaborator of the Board for evaluation of Slovak universities.
I am member of the editorial board of three international journals, I use to organise international conferences and workshops in the above mentioned fields of mathematics.
I do reports for top journals, and I use to write for the Mathematical Reviews.
I was an evaluator of projects of INTAS EU research programme and of other research agencies.
