13. 5. 2020: Due to the ongoing state of emergency in Slovakia the proposal submission process has changed. The applicants do not have to submit the hard copy of application documents by the call deadline and can deliver it to the Department of Inernational Cooperation once the state of emergency has been lifted. In such case, the electronic version of the documents has first to be sent for e-mail approval of the applicant organisation's director and then forwarded in the same e-mail thread to the Department of Inernational Cooperation (cernakova@up.upsav.sk) by 31. 5. 2020.

Slovak Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan (MOST) are happy to announce their

 

12th Call for SAS-MOST Joint Research Projects

for the years 2021-2023.

 

Collaborating teams of researchers from SAS and Taiwanese institutions are invited to submit project proposals on the basis of the Call launched and evaluated in parallel by the both research funding organisations (SAS and MOST). More information about eligibility conditions and application process for SAS applicants are to be found in the attached Call Text and forms. Rules and forms valid for Taiwanese partners can be found at MOST website.

Indicative budget for SAS applicants is up to 40,000 EUR per project per year, of which 15,000 EUR per project per year is an in-kind contribution of the applicant’s organisation. If the budget is lower, the ratio between the SAS contribution and the organisation’s in-kind contribution must be maintained. It is expected that 2 projects lasting up to 3 years will be funded within this Call.
