The SAS signed an agreement on scientific cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The conditions of scientific cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Slovak Academy of Sciences are determined in the Agreement on Mutual Scientific Cooperation. The document was ceremoniously signed today on the premises of the SAS by the President of the SAS Pavol Šajgalík in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko. Prof. Murat Zhurinov, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, signed the document in Kazakhstan.

The subject of the agreement is, in particular, the objectives, forms and possibilities of scientific cooperation. The agreement should contribute to a more intensive exchange of research teams or students. It also determines the conditions for the protection of intellectual property rights.

The agreement was concluded by both parties for five years with automatic renewal for another five years.
