About article:
MONITORING OF SOIL MOISTURE CHANGES USING EIS. One of the basic quantities characterizing the soil is moisture, which is determined by different methods and procedures. The method of electrical impedance spectrometry (EIS) is indirect electrical measuring method. It was successfully applied in the monitoring of some physical processes occurring in soils and rocks as a result of water loads. Information about ongoing changes, it is usually made on a form of maps or impedance resp. conductivity. The method is examined in the context of realized measurement apparatus consisting of a Z-meter device, measuring probes and a special user software. The paper presents examples of results achieved in solving the optimization of irrigation to the golf course in Svratka.
