About article:
The completion of the aeromagnetic map of the Slovenske Rudohorie Mts. has yielded an integral and well-balanced view of the geomagnetic structures of this variegated region. Magnetically anomalous belts were detected which expressively indicate the NW and N margin of the Gemeric unit. Further, local anomalies were detected in the Gemeric lower Paleozoic sediments, and another ones belonging to Mesozoic basic and ultrabasic rocks of the Meliata Group. The regional anomalies belonging to the Veporic, Gemeric and Meliatic units were interpreted as well. The knowledge obtained was embodied in the submitted tectonic scheme.
