The study is a continuation to a previous treatise of the author, dealing with the development of population number and structure of free royal towns in Slovakia in the second half of the 18th century (Geogr. Čas., 39, 1987, 2). Here he makes a supplement investigating the religious structure of population, namely in the sense concerning both the share represented by members of the individual confessions within the population, and that related to social groups, too.
