About article:
The study analyzes the natural conditions of the karstic landscape of the Strážovské vrchy Mts. and their contact with the Upper Nitra Basin in the space of the sludge bed near Chalmová serving to the thermal power station Nováky. It analyzes the change of the processes in the landscape provoked by the leakage of the waters from sludge bed, explains the origin of new forms (collapse dolines, swamps) and suggests the prediction of the development of the phenomena and processes in an anthropogenically changed landscape.
