About article:
A right-side tributary of the Buzäu River in the area of Pätärlagele commune, the Valea Muscel stream basin, which covers 20 sq km, is representative for the study of environmental components in the Curvature Subcarpathians. The findings revealed a hyperbolic - type relation between the two variables materialized in a sheath of straight lines, well marked on two logarithimic modules. The connection between rain intensity and erosion processes is followed up in the evolution of a few flood waves comparatively with the diagram of the rain that had generated them. The interrelationship between rain intensity and accelerated erosion is higlig-hted by the announts of suspended sediment load carried from the basin during a medium -high flood wave and by the variation of different granulometric fractions during flooding.
