About article:
Study investigates the historical development of geography of industry in Slovakia in the years 1996-1995 by monitoring 12 excerpted most important Slovak geographical journals and using a selection of published contributions of in advance defined category. Statistical analysis based in number of detected contributions revealed significance of the individual research-educational centres of industry geography and established the order of most frequently publishing authors. Analysis of the contents made possible to express not only the differences in author’s preference of single industrial branches and size of the researched spatial unit, but also regional differences in the contemporary situation of the geographical research of industry in Slovakia.
