About article:
Petržalka is a young urban structure formed as a large housing compound in the 70's and 80's. One of important demographic traits is the migration shrinkage of population as manifested from 1987. Analysis of a set of migrants for the years 1992-1995, structural traits, causes and spatial orientation of migration was the principal aim of this contribution. Results did not confirme the original concern of large structural differences between the sets of emigrants and immigrants, which could lead to degradation of demographic situation in Petržalka.
