Co-published by Versita and Springer-Verlag on behalf of Institute of Chemistry, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava.

Chemical Papers (Chemické Zvesti) is a peer-reviewed, international journal devoted to basic and applied chemical research with the experience of sixty years of publishing of high quality research. In terms of interdisciplinary coverage including analytical chemistry, (bio)catalysis, biochemistry, chemical (bio)technology, (bio)chemical engineering, chemical physics, drug chemistry, food chemistry, environmental chemistry, inorganic chemistry, macromolecular chemistry, materials chemistry, mathematical chemistry, medical and pharmaceutical chemistry, nanochemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry and more, articles of general interest are presented. Papers concerned with chemical techniques, instrumentation, applications, and technological aspects are also accepted. Related subjects are: Biochemistry & Biophysics - Biotechnology - Chemistry - Materials.

Articles should describe completed studies. Contributions must be original research papers and must not have been published elsewhere in any language. Every paper will be submitted to at least two referees. Reviews should represent an authoritative, critical and comprehensive evaluation of recent research in the various fields of chemistry. Preference is given to creative reviews on timely topics and to reviews which are likely to promote additional research. Reviews may be concerned in large part with work of the author's own laboratory. Prospective authors should send an outline of the proposed review to the Editor with a brief letter explaining why the subject might be of wide interest or significance.
