10th International Symposium on the Genetics of Industrial Microorganisms

The Congress(GIM) will be held in Prague, Czech Republic on June 24-28 2006. The scientific programme will cover:
Genetics and physiology of microorganisms (Actinomycetes, Corynebacteria, Filamentous fungi, Myxobacteria, Yeasts, Lactic acid bacteria, Bacilli....)
Natural compounds (novel bioactive compounds, biosynthetic enzymes, metabolic engineering of microbial cells...)
Application and methods (bioinformatics, molecular diagnostic methods, bioconversions, enzymes for applied biocatalysis, microbial processes for food, beverages, feed, environmental microbiology...)
Within the Symposium a Technological brokerage event will be organised on 27 June 2006. It will be an excellent opportunity to meet innovative companies and research organisations active in the field of research and use of industrial microorganisms.
