O článku:
PRECIPITATION EXTREMITY IN LOWLAND REGIONS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND ITS POSSIBLE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT. Floods, drought and erosion are considered negative phenomena. Precipitation extremity belongs to the main factors that influence the occurrence of these phenomena. Precipitation extremity belongs to the factors, which influence negative processes such as floods or erosion. For chosen localities (grid points in lowland regions near the settlements Valtice, Žarošice and Částkov) in Moravia region in the Czech Republic we evaluated monthly precipitation sum and average for the period 1961-1990. On the base of these values we compared concrete months with the average value and classified it into certain groups. With a help of a model we tried to outline possible development of monthly precipitation sums for periods 2021-2050 and 2071-2100. To simulate future development the emission scenario A1B was used. The number of extremely subnormal monthly precipitation sums seems to have upward trend. There is also downward trend of normal months, so the number of extreme monthly precipitation might be increasing.
