O článku:
The article analyses two novels that present a dystopian reality and are based on scenarios of doom. Both Juli Zeh’s Corpus Delicti (2009, Eng. trans. The Method, 2014) and Dirk C. Fleck’s GO! – Die Ökodiktatur. Erst die Erde, dann der Mensch (GO! The Eco-dictatorship. First the earth, then man, 1994) highlight the importance of life science to modern debate on health care and environmental protection. The article attempts a comparative analysis of both works to demonstrate the potential danger arising from the use of life science to curtail the freedom of the individual.
