O článku:
The vegetation of mine heaps originated after the exploitation of antimony and pyrite was studied. Low contamination of soil with metals does not limit the establishment of the vegetation. The perennial plant species of wide ecological amplitude prevailed. The species of meadow, clearing, and forest communities occurred together with some ruderal plants, creating a heterogeneous cover. The most important ecological factor appeared to be the acidification of the soil due to the weathering of sulphides. The vegetation died off and the bare soils appeared on the sites with extremely soil acidity
