The wetland community Junco inflexi-Menthetum longifoliae Lohmeyer ex Oberdorfer 1957 was studied and documented by 15 relevés in the Muránska planina Mts and adjacent region of Veporské vrchy Mts during 1999–2005. Three subassociations and two variants were distinguished, based on different floristic composition and ecology. The short synmorphological, synecological and synchorological characteristics of the community are presented. Problems with syntaxonomical classification between alliances Agropyro-Rumicion crispi and Calthion are discussed
