O článku:
In many papers about the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) system Rijndael, including papers by its designers J. Daemen, V. Rijmen [ The Rijndal Block Cipher, AES Proposal: Rijndael, 1999], E. Barkan, E. Biham [ In how many ways can you write Rindael?, preprint] and [ The book of Rijndaels, preprint], the authors claim that the generating polynomial of the underlying field plays no role in the selection of the power permutation and subsequent affine transformation, whose composition forms the S-box for Rijndael. In this contribution we show that this is not the case if input/output entropy and propagation criteria are under our consideration.
