In the complex geographical research economic geography is put in front of a task to search for new theoretico-methodological approaches to be applied more effectively. Among other things one of possible ways is to Work out also such a typification and regionalization in land use, which in the sense of unified geography would content both physicogeographical elements. Of several approaches in typification and regionalization in land use we have used a combined structural-homogeneous functional-genetical one demonstrated on an example of the Liptovská Kotlina Basin at a large cartographical measure 1:10 000. Using the combined physicogeographical method has allowed a finer typological and regionalistic division than using mere economicogeographical criteria.
