New localities of selected rare and endangered taxa of vascular plants are presented in this paper. Altogether 1 critically endangered, 16 endangered, 18 vulnerable and 10 lower risk taxa are commented as to their occurrence within the region of Central Slovakia. New localities of Asplenium adulterinum, Dactylorhiza lapponica, Doronicum hungaricum, Epipactis futakii, Ophioglossum vulgatum belong to the most interesting findings
