O článku:
Granulometric composition describes the rate distribution of the individual fraction of particles that are found in soil. Together with other characteristics it determines a number of physical, chemical and biological parameters in the soil, it affects the infiltration of water, the ratio of capillary and non-capillary pores, the content and composition of edaphone and other soil-forming processes. This paper presents the possibility of estimating the effective grain size of the soil by the method of electrical impedance spectrometry (EIS) when measuring the Z-meter. The procedure is based on frequency analysis of the soil sample realized in the selected frequency spectrum. From the dependence between the measurement frequency and the effective grain size of the soil, an estimate of the effective grain size of the soil in the field conditions can be made. The measurements were carried out in the localities of Hornice, Jevíčko, Karolinka, Kobeřice, Žabčice and Poľany.
