Sequence conditions which imply $I$-approximate continuity

The note presents a description of the category approximate continuity of a real function having the Baire property with the use of sequences of the form $\{f(x₀+xt_n)\}$, where $x$ belongs to some residual set and $\{t_n\}$ is slowly decreasing sequence tending to $0$. This is an analogue of the result of Foran [J. Foran: Sequence conditions which imply approximate continuity, Real. Anal. Exchange 17 (1991–92), 728–736] dealing with the approximate continuity.
