The almost quasicontinuity is a property of functions which is weaker than quasicontinuity and almost continuity in the sense of Husain. We characterize the almost quasicontinuity by functions of the oscillation type, describe the set $B_f$ of all points at which any function $f$ is almost quasicontinuous and we show the invariance of this property under almost uniform convergence.
