Program Mobility

SAS program to support participation in international cooperation project schemes

The aim of the program

The aim of the program is to streamline the support of international mobility from the central sources of the SAS so that it leads to a higher participation of researchers from the SAS in international project schemes, especially in the EU Framework Programs. The program will make it possible to establish cooperation with partners from major workplaces in Europe and the world in order to create the preconditions for the preparation of joint international research projects. The potential for creating a joint international research project is one of the conditions for the award of the grant within the Mobility program. The involvement of young researchers (postdocs) and doctoral students is another important aspect and, at the same time, one of the evaluation criteria for project proposals.

Another aim of the Mobility program is to support short-term visits of prominent foreign scientists in the SAS (Program Visit). The aim of the program Visit is to stimulate experience exchange with prominent personalities of world science, to share top research results with a wider academic and non-academic audience, as well as to establish or deepen mutual cooperation.

I. Mobility Projects Program

I.a. Program of bilateral mobility projects

The aim is to develop cooperation on the basis of a bilateral cooperation agreement between the SAS and institution abroad. The support is intended for research teams in which at least one third are postdocs (researchers within 10 years after defending PhD thesis) and / or PhD students. Projects are evaluated on both sides, with each party supporting its participants in the project.
