World Literature Studies – Casopis pre vyskum svetovej literatury vydava styri razy rocne Ustav svetovej literatury Slovenskej akademie vied. Uverejnuje recenzovane (double blind peer review), doposial nepublikovane vedecke studie a recenzie z oblasti vseobecnej a porovnavacej literarnej vedy a translatologie. Cisla su vacsinou zamerane tematicky a konkretne temy sa zverejnuju v podobe vyziev na posielanie prispevkov. Prispevky sa uverejnuju v slovencine, cestine, anglictine, nemcine, resp. vo francuzstine s anglickymi resume.

Casopis je zaradeny do medzinarodnych databaz: Art & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI), Current Contents/Arts & Humanities (CC/A&H), Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL), Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (CEJSH), EBSCO, Scopus, ERIH PLUS.
