Mgr. Lukáš Lapšanský, PhD.
Mgr. Lukáš Lapšanský, PhD., graduated from the Faculty of Law of Bordeaux IV Montesquieu University (France). He works as an independent researcher at the Institute of State and Law of the SAS, where he simultaneously serves as deputy director, and is also active as an attorney. He is the author or co-author of dozens of scientific and professional articles published at home and abroad, in which he focuses on the areas of competition law, commercial law and media law. He is the author or co-author of several monographs such as Press Act. Commentary (C.H Beck, Prague, 2009 and 2021, co-authored), Protection of economic competition in the field of media in Slovakia (Veda, Bratislava, 2014), Freedom of expression in court decisions (Veda, Bratislava, 2015, co-authored), 100 years of the magazine Legal overview (Veda, Bratislava, 2017, co-authored) or Protection of economic competition from anti-competitive interventions by public authorities (Institute of the State and Law of the Slovak Republic, Bratislava, 2020) or chapters in domestic monographs (Economic competition and state aid, in European law in Slovakia : the legal dimension of membership in the European Union, Kalligram, Bratislava, 2002) as well as foreign (Cartelrecht : part D./VIII., in Handbuch Wirtschaft und Recht in Osteuropa, C. H. Beck Verlag, München, 2003). Press Act. Commentary (C.H Beck, Prague, 2009, co-authored) was awarded the Author's Award for a legal publication in the Slovak Republic for 2010, awarded as part of the annually organized international scientific conference Karlovy Vary Law Days.
