Dr. Igor Leščešen is a researcher at the Institute of Hydrology, Slovak Academy of Sciences. and an associate researcher at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences. He completed his BSc (2011), MSc (2012), and PhD (2019) at the University of Novi Sad. Dr. Leščešen has authored over 20 scientific papers in international and national journals, contributed two textbooks, and presented his research at over 20 scientific conferences. His research interests include hydrology, climatology, environmental science, and natural disasters. He is an active member of the Serbian Geographical Society, the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS), and the Climatology and Hydrology Research Centre at the University of Novi Sad.
