I have received my M.Sc. at Charles University in Prague (Department of Anthropology and Human Genetics) and my PhD at the University of Groningen (Faculty of Medicine). As a medical anthropologist with transdisciplinary background, academically I have so far focused primarily on the causes of and remedies for the health inequalities between excluded Roma and the general population in Slovakia. Long-term experiments with the application of my fndings at the national level have founded my interest in the influences of power structures also on the nature of the current global ecological and social crisis. Following this interest and my two life-long hobbies, I am currently retuning myself to an (auto)ethnography of radical environmentalism and romantic love.
