IMPULZ Projects at Midterm: Prestigious Grant Scheme Showcases Outstanding Scientific Results
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) hosted a public defense of interim results for projects funded under the prestigious IMPULZ grant scheme. The event, titled "IMPULZ Projects at Midterm: Interim Results, Challenges, and Future Prospects," took place in the Dionýz Blaškovič Lecture Hall in Bratislava.
The event was opened by the President of the SAS with his opening remarks. During the event, three successful principal investigators from the 2022 call , namely Dr. Eugenia Kelbert Rudan, Dr. Tamás Csanádi and Dr. Ján Jamroškovič, with the participation of IMPULZ evaluation committee members, presented their innovative research, major milestones, and future visions. After the public presentation of the projects, the program continued with the IMPULZ evaluation committee session, where the principal investigators presented interim reports on the implementation of their projects.
The presentations sparkled an engaging discussion on the latest trends pushing the boundaries of contemporary knowledge.
