Quantum Technologies Summer School 2026 in Bratislava
The Institute of Physics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien and the Slovak National Center for Quantum Technologies QUTE.sk, is organizing the international Quantum Technologies Summer School 2026, which will take place from 24 to 28 August 2026 at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Comenius University in Bratislava.
The five-day summer school is dedicated to current topics in quantum technologies, including quantum computing, quantum communication, quantum cryptography, and quantum optics. The programme will feature expert lectures, but above all hands-on workshops led by experienced specialists from academia and the technology sector.
The event is intended for students, PhD candidates, young researchers, teachers, and anyone interested in modern quantum technologies and their applications. The programme will also include activities for teachers and future teachers of mathematics, physics, and computer science aimed at connecting contemporary scientific knowledge with education.
The QUTE Summer School builds on previous successful editions held alternately in Bratislava and Vienna and provides a platform for international collaboration, networking, and the development of young talent in one of the fastest-growing fields of modern science and technology.
Registration is open until 24 July 2026.
