Slovakia is part of EHRI-ERIC. SAS is involved
The National Platform for Cooperation with EHRI in Slovakia (EHRI-SK) represents the Slovak national node of the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure EHRI-ERIC.
EHRI-ERIC connects archives, memory institutions, and scientific institutions from several European countries to support research, documentation, and education about the Holocaust through modern digital tools and international cooperation.
EHRI-SK in Slovakia develops:
▪️ digital services and databases for Holocaust research
▪️ EHRI-SK educational activities and seminars for educators
▪️ support for scientific research and international cooperation
▪️ information on archival funds and collections
The following are involved in the activities of the National Platform for Cooperation with EHRI in Slovakia:
▪️ Holocaust Documentation Centre (as coordinator of the national platform EHRI-SK)
▪️ Institute of History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences
▪️ Institute of Geography of the Slovak Academy of Sciences
▪️ Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology SAS
▪️ Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences SAS
