First Gotion-Slovakia Battery Forum
On Monday, December 15, 2025, the 1st Gotion-Slovakia Battery Forum was held at the Centre for Advanced Materials Application SAS (CEMEA SAS), in Bratislava, Patrónka.
The forum featured presentations on research at Gotion, Y-Lab, Inobat, CEMEA SAS, and the universities STU in Bratislava and UPJŠ in Košice. The purpose of the event was to familiarize participants with battery research and to identify topics for future collaboration. The forum was rich in discussion and provided a strong foundation for future cooperation.
The event was attended by Gotion representatives Steven Cai and Guannan Zhu; Vladimír Šimoňák, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic; Martin Venhart, President of the Slovak Academy of Sciences; Miroslav Hnatko, Director of CEMEA SAV; as well as Karol Fröhlich and Pavol Šajgalík for CEMEA SAV. Other attendees included representatives from Inobat, Gotion Inobat Battery, Pavol Krokoš, and Patrik Križanský (SEVA).
