Invitation to Watch the IAP Triennial Conference 2025
The InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), is hosting the prestigious three-day IAP Triennial Conference 2025, bringing together scientists, policymakers, and research leaders from around the world. The conference will take place 8–10 December 2025 in Cairo. The main theme of this year’s conference is the search for solutions to the most pressing global challenges—from science diplomacy and artificial intelligence to climate resilience, sustainable development, and support for early-career researchers. The subtitle of the event is ‘Bridging Science, Policy and Society in an Era of Transformation’. The international conference can be followed live via LinkedIn, YouTube, or Zoom.
The programme will consist of plenary addresses, panel discussions, and interactive sessions. The first day will include a series of thematic side events focused on sustainable health research, research assessment reform, and science diplomacy in the era of AI, followed by the official opening of the conference and introductory plenary sessions. The second and third days will focus on discussions on scientific cooperation in times of crisis, the role of women in science, digital transformation, AI ethics, and building trust in scientific knowledge.
