SAS turns its attention on young talented students
The Young Hope of Slovak Science student conference begins today in the Congress Centre of the Slovak Academy of Sciences at Smolenice Castle. It will last until Friday. More than 40 children from all over Slovakia will have the opportunity to present their school work in front of other students and have a unique opportunity to debate with more than 20 scientists from the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Every year, SAS invites students who have succeeded in national competitions with their projects to the conference: Festival of Science and Technology AMAVET and Secondary Vocational Activities (SOČ).
The Young Hope of Slovak Science conference brings not only educational and professional experiences but also inspiration and motivation for young people who have the potential to embark on a scientific career in the future. A space is created where students can not only present their projects but also get new ideas from experienced experts or discuss the challenges that scientific work brings.
The conference partners are AMAVET (Association for Youth, Science and Technology) and ŠIOV (State Institute of Vocational Education).
