The first meeting of SASPRO 2 programme fellows
On Monday, October 10, 2022, the first meeting of SASPRO 2 programme fellows took place in the Science Park of the Comenius University with the participation of all project partners (Slovak Academy of sciences, Comenius University and Slovak university of Technology).
SASPRO 2 fellows shortly presented their projects and objectives planned to be achieved. The invitation was also accepted by SAS presidium members - Mgr. Martin Venhart, PhD., Ing. Marek Radvanský, PhD., the chairman of the SASPRO 2 Evaluation Committee for the Physical, Space, Earth and Engineering sciences RNDr. Aleš Kučera, CSc. and prof. RNDr. Jozef Masarik, DrSc. - vice-rector of the Comenius University for science, doctoral studies and project activities.
Fellows joined a meeting with a representative from the REA (Research Executive Agency) from Brussels, Ms. Brigitta Bősze, who was interested in the process of the selection procedure, negotiations of fellowships and working conditions at the host organizations. Subsequently the project coordinators and the REA representative discussed the project's midterm review report. The event ended with an informal discussion of all participants.
