About article:
Two-party cryptographic protocols are here investigated as an important class of algorithms for which some insights into usual design are provided, and different issues related to it are discussed. So, the main objective of this work is to give a brief overview of such a field in order to propose various general schemes and to sketch several informal guidelines of a modular and generic methodology for improving the practice of robust protocol design. On the other hand, both one-sided and two-sided cryptographic primitives are here proposed as basic building-blocks for the systematic definition of more complex cryptographic protocols.
