Retracts of monounary algebras corresponding to groupoids

In [NOVOTNÝ, M.: Construction of all homomorphisms of \linebreak groupoids, Czechoslovak Math. J. 46(121) (1996), 141–153] is defined the monounary algebra $un(G,\circ)$ corresponding to a groupoid $(G,\circ)$. The aim of this paper is to prove that each monounary algebra is up to isomorphism a retract of $un(G,\circ)$ for some groupoid $(G,\circ)$.
