Reliktné fenomény v pôdnom pokryve Slovenska a príspevok k ich interpretácii

On the basis of pedological examinations and invesitigations from the territory of Slovakia a survey of the occurrence of relict soil phenomena has been .presented in the paper. The phenomena of rubefaction, periglacial processes and paleohydromorphism have been ascertained in the soil cover, occurring sporadically or continually in a form of both buried horizons and also those coming to light. The occurrence of these phenomena as .well as their chronological and spatial connections show a generally older age of the soils of this area and also their striking ability of self-regulation and self-stabilization.
