Priestorové hodnotenie výsledkov volieb so Slovenskej národnej rady (jún 1990)

This contribution deals with identifying main areas in Slovakia, where individual political parties received the largest number of votes in election to the Slovak National Parliament (Figs. 1 – 7) as well as with main spatial features in preferring political parties in Slovakia (Fig. 8). Basic spatial differences in preferring individual parties are caused by national structure of population (members of Hungarian national minority voted identically the party Nr. 12), hierarchy of settlement network (preference of the party Nr. 5 in towns and/or the party Nr. 17 in rural areas) and religious structure of population (party Nr. 17 in Catholic regions, party Nr. 5 in evangelic regions and representation of more parties in another religions in Slovakia).
