About article:
This paper focuses on the application of generic masculine gender and masculine tendency in the development and use of gender correlates, which is characteristic for two of the languages under discussion (Polish and Bulgarian). The paper further looks at the deputization of masculines in identifying persons according to specific occupation, function, title and a variety of activities also with regard to their lexicographical treatment in Slovak, Polish and Bulgarian language.
