About article:
In 2015 journal Slavica Slovaca completed the fiftieth annual volume of its publishing. Over the past fifty years (1966-2015) of the journal changes in thematic focus, aims and tasks can be seen as well as changes of publishers, editors, editorial board and periodicity. The aim of bibliographic review is to document listed facts that influenced not only the scientific and content profile of the journal, but also the role of the only Slavistic periodical Slavica Slovaca in forming of Slovak Slavistic research. The present bibliography of Slavica Slovaca includes all papers published in the journal from the first volume in 1966 to the third number of the fiftieth volume in 2015. In term of scientific focus contributors are not only linguists and literary scholars, but also folklorists, historians, archeologists, art historians, musicologists. All authors are reciprocally interested in the relationship of Slovak language and culture to the other Slavic languages, historiography, culture, folklore and arts, so also Slovak Slavistic periodical Slavica Slovaca succeeds in carrying out the concept of widely perceived spectrum of interdisciplinary Slavistic research. Bibliography is divided into sections corresponding with the structure of the journal. It consists of studies and papers, reports and reviews. It also includes leading articles and although they were not regular their authors pointed out to the important events in the development of the journal and Slavistics as a scientific discipline. Within the mentioned sections we arranged particular bibliographic data alphabetically by surname of the author and author´s data consist of surname and full name. In some bibliographic data we were unable to trace the author´s full name by initial abbreviation of the author’s first name, hereat we retain just the abbreviation. If the article is not signed by the full name, but only initials of author’s surname and first name, we follow the alphabetical order of the first letter of initial, or more precisely we follow the first letter of signed collective of authors (e.g. editorial office, editorial board etc.) The article without author is alphabetically ordered by its title. In revealed initials the deciphered author’s data are in square brackets after the abbreviation. Title of the article always comes after the author´s name with relevant bibliographic data in the following structure: year, volume, number and pages, e.g. Blanár, Vincent: Jazykovedné dielo Ľudovíta Štúra v slovenskom a slovanskom kontexte. In Slavica Slovaca, 1993, roč. 28, č. 1-2, s. 4-14. If one author published in the journal Slavica Slovaca several papers, articles, reports or reviews we organize them within the sections consecutively in chronological order from oldest to latest bibliographic data. In case of several co-authors in the article bibliographic data are repeated for each author separately with the unchanged order, however, the surname and the first name of particular author where the bibliographic data repeats is underlined.
