Annotation
The explosive conception of theatre as a social art is currently reaching into many social spheres. This makes it possible to view theatre and the theatrical work not only as an aesthetic phenomenon (and essentially isolated from the spectator and his or her civilian personal or cultural sphere), but as a so-called "ecosystem of theatre". It is a diverse network of connections and coexistences that go beyond the original artistic concepts, directing theatre towards addressing key challenges in terms of adaptation/transformation/resistance/resilience of theatre and the human being. Paul Rebillot's Direct Impact Creativity is one method of how the performing arts directly engage in the transformation of an individual or group. The structure and functioning of Paul Rebillot's dramatherapy technique, The Hero's Journey, can be an experience involving the recognition of one's own passage (archetype) through crisis, while its theatrical language and aesthetic means of expression emerge as a functional, multilevel participatory process. The theme offers the possibility of an interdisciplinary exploration of the forms, boundaries, coexistences and impacts of theatrical creativity as a specific artistic language that also has a direct transformative social potential.
