Annotation
In vitro the solutions of high-molar-mass will be exposed to free-radical degradation by using rotational viscometry as well as oximetric monitoring of oxygen consumption. i) Preventive and ii) chain-breaking effects of natural and synthetic compounds will be explored in prevention of HA degradation. Compounds with significant i) and ii) effects will be subsequently assessed by in vivo experiments in ischemic rabbits and diabetic rats.
